- From Canada, Lesley lives in New York City.
Lesley has always loved text and letterforms. After having several of her stories that she both wrote and illustrated published, she moved towards hand-drawn letters, then into sign-making and lettering art where she is able to combine her illustration, hand-lettering, and her love of challenge.
Her clients include Major Food Group (Santina, Parm, Dirty French, Sadelle's), Rachael Ray Magazine, JP Williams, Cole Haan, Atsuko Inc, JSTOR, Dig Inn, Bottino, Pop Up Flea, and Rekorderlig Cider. Her PLANTER font received an Award of Excellence and was featured in the 2014 Communication Arts Typography Annual.
She works honestly, collaboratively, and cooperatively, and welcomes clients with these same goals.
Her most recent book, The Banana Story of Agony (Conundrum Press, 2009) is a collection of four of her illustrated stories (Love, Susan Had a Chicken on Her Butt, There’s No One Home, and The Banana Story of Agony), that can be seen as children's books or stories for all ages. And can also all be seen here, from the links in this jolly paragraph.
Lesley welcomes all ideas and inquiries. You can contact her at 347 759 8568 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
